GERMANY -TURKEY CAREER AND WORKFORCE AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH A CEREMONY

Th Prime Minister of Lower Saxony Stephan Weil and the Ambassador to Germany Ahmet Basar Sen also attended the signing ceremony of the workforce agreement of the Istanbul Kültür University and Deutsche Management Akademie Niedersachsen (DMAN).

Within the scope of the Germany Career and Workforce Program, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees  of Istanbul Kültür University Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Bahri Öztürk, academicians of the Faculty of Law and Germany Career and Workforce Program Coordinator Öğr. Gör. Nilüfer Köker  LL.M. made a comprehensive visit to Germany.

With the agreement signed after meetings with Stephan Weil, the President of the State of Lower Saxony, Ahmet Başar Şen, the Ambassador of Turkey to Germany, Belit Onay, the first mayor of Turkish origin elected in Germany (Mayor of Hannover Metropolitan Municipality), and many other high-level meetings, Istanbul Kültür University has taken another big step towards internationalization.

SPECIAL RECEPTION İKÜ AT THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF HANNOVER

After the signing of the agreement, a reception organized specifically for Istanbul Kültür University was attended at the Consulate General in Hannover.
In her speech, Consul General Ms. Gül Özge Kaya said, "Today we were delighted to witness the signing of the agreement for the implementation of the qualified workforce project between Istanbul Kültür University and the German Academy of Management Lower Saxony.
I am convinced that this agreement will strengthen our relations in the future, both in academic and economic fields, and in many other areas, and will contribute to the consolidation of cooperation between our countries. 
As the Consulate General, we are always ready to support you in implementing the contents of the agreement and we are available to you as a contact person whenever you need us.".

The address of the second day of the visit to Germany was Berlin. With the visit of the Turkish and German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin, areas that will contribute to the development of the world on behalf of two countries and two cultures were discussed. The cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University and DMAN was explained in detail.

Another visit in Berlin was organized with the Turkey Desk of the German Federal Foreign Ministry.
Details of the Germany-Turkey Career and Workforce Program were shared with the Turkey Desk. They stated that the Turkey Desk will also provide support for the development and dissemination of the program.
