T.R. Istanbul Kultur University Faculty of Law Lecturer

Born in 1981 in Kassel / Germany, Nilüfer Köker successfully completed the first state examination degree at the Faculty of Law at Göttingen Georg-August University in 2006. In 2010 she successfully passed the second state examination in Düsseldorf and gained the authority of judge (Volljuristin).

In addition, Köker, who had successfully completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University after completing her undergraduate degree at the Georg-August University in Göttingen, was entitled to receive a diploma equivalency certificate indicating that she acquired an education equivalent to her bachelor’s degree in law.

As a scholarship holder of Mercator Foundation, Köker participated in the double diploma degree “Turkish, German, International Economics Law Program” between 2012 and 2015 in cooperation with Ruhr University Bochum and Istanbul Kültür University and completed her master’s study along with a degree with a thesis titled “The Termination of the Commercial Agency Contract According to the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and the Consequences of the Termination.”
 
Köker, who successfully served as a DAAD e. V. Law lecturer at Istanbul Kultur University between 2014 and 2020, continues to work as a lecturer at Istanbul Kultur University Faculty of Law. Köker, who is also a student of the Public Law Program in the Department of Public Law at the Graduate Education Institute of Istanbul Kultur University, is at the dissertation stage of her doctoral thesis.

She has given lectures at various symposia and conferences and published publications in Turkish and German. Köker is a member of the German-Turkish Lawyers Association (DTJV).
