Founder, Partner and Managing Director of Moving Supplies GmbH

Ulrike Bertrand is the founder, partner and managing director of Moving Supplies GmbH in Buchholz. She is a graduate engineer in chemical process and plastics technology. Through more than 20 years of professional and management experience in many internationally leading industrial firms in various industries, including more than 16 years in middle and senior management and leadership positions, she now has a wealth of industrial experience and understanding of operational needs. Since 2016, she has been consulting with a focus on manufacturing companies.
The main areas of consultancy are:

  • Analysis, design and restructuring of business processes
  • Strategic corporate development
  • Growth and profit-enhancing programs: Optimization of business processes
  • Improvement and conversion to more agile processes and management structures
  • Supply chain management

Many medium-sized companies in particular are integrated into the supply chains of large companies without maintaining their own flexibility and are confronted with their adaptation requirements. Ulrike Bertrand supports such companies in strengthening their competitive position through holistic supply chain management.
Bertrand has worked at the following companies: Beiersdorf AG, Nordex (wind power station), Cheminova (chemistry), Carl Zeiss AG (optics, medical technology, semiconductors), Accuride Wheels Europe and Asia (including supply chain responsibility for two Russian production sites). She established and implemented a supply chain at Aerius Marine GmbH (Pon Group), a supplier of ship materials.
In 2021, Bertrand supported BioNTech SE in the area of network production planning and control, as well as in establishing related end-to-end processes.
Ulrike Bertrand has been working as a management trainer at DMAN since 2019, for example on a project to increase the productivity of Russian companies.
